Follow these steps to set up your Retroid Pocket 3+ Android OS:
- Open settings from the home screen or the notification shade. Below are the sections to pay attention to.
- Display:
- Brightness: Set to 50%.
- Dark theme: Enable to save energy.
- Color mode: Adjust the color scheme to your preference.
- Wallpaper: Choose static wallpapers from those saved on the device.
- Screen timeout: Set to 5 minutes.
- Font size: Adjust to your preference.
- Sound:
- Sound and vibration on charging: Disable.
- Privacy:
- Ads: Disable ad personalization.
- Security:
- Screen lock: Set to None.
- Go to “Personalization based on shared data” and disable “External storage” and “Contacts on device”.
- System:
- Date and time: Set time, region, and date manually, disable “Use network-provided time”.
- Handheld Setting (the only untranslated section):
- Status bar: Enable network speed indicator.
- Input >> Controller Style: Choose your current layout and Xbox style.
- Virtual mouse: Enable if needed. The console will prompt you to hold two buttons to assign hotkeys (I set it to the L1|R1 triggers).
