What platforms can the R36S emulate?
It can emulate everything up to the PS1 without issues. For more demanding games, some adjustments are needed. However, you can still play titles like Half-Life, HOMM3, Stardew Valley, and many more using Portmaster.

What memory cards are supported?
Cards up to 256GB are supported, but there is a chance a card might not work. There is no clear pattern to this.

How do you connect a flash drive?
Plug the flash drive into the OTG port using an OTG adapter. Go to Options – USB Drive Mount. After closing the screen that appears, you will be back in the Options menu. The flash drive is now mounted, and you can open the file manager to do what you need. To disconnect, go to Options – USB Drive Unmount.

A blurred white message on a black background appears on the screen, then the console shuts down. What should I do?
This is normal; the console just needs to be charged.

Can I output the display to a TV/monitor?
No, this feature is not available.

The console does not see games on the second memory card.
Go to Options – Advanced – (at the end of the list) Switch to second SD for Roms. After this, a new option will appear near the beginning of the list: Read from SD1 and SD2 for Roms, allowing you to use ROMs on both cards simultaneously.
Note: This depends on the ArcOS version. If it’s the stock version and not the modified version by AeolusUX, this option won’t be available.

The battery percentage is erratic and inaccurate. Is this normal?
Yes, this is normal. The console has a basic battery and controller, so the percentage reading is unreliable.

Wifi is available in the settings, but the console does not detect any networks.
The console supports Wifi, but it does not have a built-in adapter. You can use an external Wifi adapter via OTG with a USB-C adapter. It has been tested with the TP-Link TL-WN722N.
Sometimes there are issues with Wifi networks that have special characters in their names. It’s best to use only Latin letters and numbers.

The D-pad is stiff and difficult to press diagonally.
Carefully disassemble the console and slightly loosen the screw on the D-pad side with a Phillips screwdriver.

The status LED is too bright. Is night-time gaming possible?
You can disassemble the console and cover the LED with electrical tape to dim the light.

Is there vibration support?
Not initially, but it can be added manually.
