Are your games not working after installing Onion OS, or do you want to add a new emulator or app? You can update the list of apps/emulators without re-flashing the device. Onion OS has a special app called Package Manager, previously known as Onion Installer. This is the app you see when you first turn on the console after flashing.
Steps to Use Package Manager
- Turn on the console and open “Apps.”
- Find and launch Package Manager.
- There are four tabs you can switch between using the R2 and L2 buttons:
- VERIFIED – working console emulators
- APPS – applications (music player, PDF reader, activity tracker, etc.)
- EXPERT – experimental emulators that may not be fully functional
- SUMMARY – displays all your changes
- To activate an app/emulator, toggle the switch to ON using the A button.
- After selecting all the desired apps/emulators, switch to the SUMMARY tab with the R2 button, review your selections, and press the START button.
- Wait for the process to complete and enjoy the results.
