MinUI is an alternative firmware with a minimalist interface and high performance for gaming. The official repository can be found at GitHub. Author: shauninman
Installing MinUI
- Open the link MinUI Releases and download the latest firmware archive, for example, MinUI-20230930b-0-base.zip.
- MinUI is multi-platform, so you will only need a few files and directories from the archive.
- Format the flash drive to FAT 32.
- For Miyoo Mini, copy the folders /bios, /miyoo, /roms, /saves, and the file MinUI.zip (do not unzip it) from the firmware archive to the memory card.
- For Miyoo Mini Plus, copy the folders /bios, /miyoo354, /roms, /saves, and the file MinUI.zip (do not unzip it) from the firmware archive to the memory card.
- Insert the memory card into the console and press the power button.
- Wait for the firmware installation process to complete.
Loading BIOS
- The console supports only a basic set of gaming platforms. Therefore, it is pointless to load a full set of BIOS files into the BIOS folder.
- To correctly distribute the BIOS files across existing directories, download the attached archive bios_for_minui.zip and extract it to the memory card with MinUI installed.
Loading Games
Games are loaded into the Roms folder in the corresponding directories. The folder names are labeled clearly to avoid mistakes.
